Urban Jungles
Urban Jungles gathered 14 artists at Atelier Céramiques Almadies (Dakar, Sénégal) on December 2016. Mauro Petroni and myself curated this exhibition. Artists and their works were chosen to set up a urban jungle. Compact exhibition's staging reflected jungle's density.
This exhibition showed how time, nature and humans alter the organisation of city and turns it into a jungle. It higlighted chaos of cities and how artists struggle to find a place in city and in society.
